July 20-21
• An unknown subject removed a concrete lawn ornament from a home in the 7700 block of 173rd Street between 11:59 p.m. July 20 and 2 p.m. July 21, according to police reports.
July 21
• Dan Shelby, 50, of Dixmoor was charged with one count of felony retail theft after he allegedly stole $312 worth of merchandise from a retailer in the 7500 block of W. 191st Street, police said. He was placed in a cell while awaiting transport to Will County lock up.
July 21-22
• An unknown subject broke into an apartment in the 7400 block of W. 159th Street between the hours of 8 p.m. July 21 and 9 a.m. July 22 and stole items valued at a total $10,000, including two white gold wedding bands with approximately 1.5 karat diamond, Apple iPad2, Sony Playstation 2 gaming system and Apple Mac Book computer, police said.
July 22
• Kyle D. Vigil, 19, of Tinley Park was arrested at 1:52 a.m. and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, no rear registration plate light and disobeying a stop sign after he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 172nd Street and 67th Court, police said. His court date is Aug. 9 in Bridgeview.
• Breauna A. Harris, 21, of Park Forest was issued with citations for improper lane usage, no insurance and suspended driver's license, police said. Her court date is Sept. 5 in Bridgeview.
July 23
Trisha Martinez, 21, of Chicago was charged with speeding and driving while license suspended after policed clocked her vehicle traveling 42 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 18500 block of 76th Avenue at 10:23 a.m., according to police reports. Her court date was Aug. 8 in Bridgeview.
July 25
Michele M. Sweders, 38, of Frankfort was arrested at 3:49 p.m. and charged with felony retail theft after she allegedly stole $249.99 worth of merchandise from a retailer in the 7500 block of 191st Street, police said. She was transported to the Will County Sherrifs Department for housing and a bond hearing.
Patricia Ann Clarett, 57, of Chicago Heights was arrested at 4:56 p.m. and charged with one count felony retail theft after she allegedly stole $71.97 of merchandise from a retailer in the 17100 block of Harlem Avenue, police said. She was transported to Bridgeview Court on July 26 for a bond hearing.
Jonathan D. Matthews, 25, of Harvey was arrested at 2:37 p.m. and charged with operating uninsured vehicle, driving while license suspended and unlawful display of any license plate not authorized by law for use on such vehicle, according to police reports. His court date is Sept. 12 in Will County.
Ahmad R. Ismail. 18, of Tinley Park was cited at 11:11 p.m. for operation of motor vehicle with suspended registration for insurance. His court date is Sept. 5 in Bridgeview.
