Andrew softball has some added incentive this season to belt home runs and notch wins.

The Thunderbolts are awarding a customized, WWE-style championship belt to their players throughout the season. It is a recognition for stellar play, provides team bonding opportunities and can add some extra motivation.

“It’s different than a game ball,” Andrew coach Matt Fish said. “It’s different than putting a name out there. It’s something they can handle and show off to their family and friends or classmates.”
