There may be no formula that guarantees winning – be it in sports, business or life – but pairing beer and food together gives one at least a solid chance of success.

St. Joseph’s Church in Manhattan put that philosophy to the test on Sept. 30 when the parish held its 2nd annual Pints and Pork Challenge. The event was a celebration of craft brews and barbecued pork that literally paired the drinks and eats together in a contest that brought out the creative side of the competitors.
