More than 20,000 “maggots” invaded Tinley Park earlier this month to watch a show headlined by Slipknot.

Shortly thereafter, more than 100,000 “maggots” purchased the group’s new album, “We Are Not Your Kind” to push it to No. 1 on Billboard’s chart, beating out Rick Ross’s “Port of Miami 2” effort.

Slipknot calls its fans “maggots” and they take it as a badge of honor.
