Tinley Park teen Austin Carter is giving to teens fighting cancer. The 16-year-old Carter – who was inspired by his three grandparents who battled cancer – recently decided to spend his birthday money to support teens fighting cancer. When his birthday was over, Austin donated $60 in gift cards to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, an Orland Park-based nonprofit whose motto centers on “providing toys and smiles to kids with cancer.”
