Bruce Lorence, of Tinley Park, shows off one of his train displays featured at the Vogt Visual Arts Center until Jan. 26.
The smallest train in the “Trains & Miniatures” exhibit is owned by former Tinley Park Mayor Ed Zabrocki who was first in line at the open house on Dec. 1.
Richard Vuillaume, of Orland Park, brought his grandchildren (left to right) Hannah, Sara, and Emma, to check out the display set up at Vogt Visual Arts Center.

“Everyone that has come through these doors tell me that trains go with Christmas,” said Julie Dekker, VVAC gallery director. ”This year is the first year we have a big tree with a train going around it. Walk in our front door and you’ll find Christmas.”
