Like so much else, April Food Day is cancelled this year.

April Food Day is the United Way of Metro Chicago’s annual food drive that occurs annually on April 1 at the Tinley Park Convention Center. However, due to fears of spreading the coronavirus, the charity event is postponed to a date not yet known.

With the cancellation of the event, United Way is addressing other concerns now through a new fundraising effort.
