The chance to have two Tinley Park natives playing each other in the Super Bowl ended on Saturday, Jan. 11, when the Baltimore Ravens were upended by Tennessee, 28-12 in the NFL playoffs.

Baltimore and San Francisco were two of the top teams in their respective conferences and on paper they were seemingly headed to the Super Bowl to face each other.

Earlier in the day, the 49ers held up their end of the bargain with a 27-10 victory over Minnesota and Tinley Park native Tevin Coleman ran for two touchdowns in the contest.
