 Andrew’s wrestling team is not busting down the door in becoming an elite team in the state.

But the T-Bolts are on the porch, knocking on it lightly.

First-year coach Peter Kowalczuk, a former Oak Park-River Forest state qualifier and U.S. Open Wrestling champion, is building the program by getting as many boys as he can and molding them into wrestlers he thinks can be top-notch. He is also taking wrestlers who were already in the program and trying to make them better.
