Andrew’s Lily Darman qualified for the Illinois High School Association state meet as a freshman but has not been back.

Now that this is her senior season, she is itching to return to state one more time.

She is off to a hot streak as she won the first-singles title  at the SouthWest Suburban Conference Red championships at Lincoln-Way Central on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The IHSA sectionals begin on Friday, Oct. 18.
