Coming into its Week 7 matchup with Lockport Township Friday, Oct. 11, the Lincoln-Way East football team was not taking anything for granted.

After all, the Griffins had seen how the Porters had battled toe-to-toe with Bolingbrook in Week 6 – leading the Raiders at halftime before eventually falling 29-14.
