For 24 minutes, the Providence Catholic football team matched St. Rita step for step.

But after two injuries to key Providence starters to start the second half Friday, Oct. 4, the Mustangs were able to capitalize en route to a 22-0 Week 6 victory on Friday, Oct. 4 in New Lenox.

The Celtics injuries were to starting quarterback Kevin Conway and defensive back Max Pignotti – the latter of whom required assistance from paramedics.
