D.J. Brown knows about the noise.

“I’ve been a head coach for 13 years,” Brown said. “I grew up with a dad as a head coach.”

The Tinley Park coach’s dad, Dave Brown, was the head coach at Rolling Meadows from 1989-2003. D.J. played for him from 1998-2001.

“When I was a sophomore on the varsity, I used to hear the ‘daddy’s boy’ chant. I tell my kids they won’t hear anything that bad.”

If they hear anything at all.
