Miles Boykin, a Providence Catholic graduate and Tinley Park native, made his first college appearance at Notre Dame since his legendary and life-changing one-handed catch in the Citrus Bowl against LSU in January. Jarvion Franklin, an Andrew graduate coming off a successful career at Western Michigan University, picked up his first NFL action in a preseason game with the Pittsburgh Steelers and scored a touchdown in Thursday, Aug. 28, but two days later, the undrafted free agent was cut.
