Let’s start with Gary Grohovena, 67, of Tinley Park, who had a Bulldogs baseball field named in his honor on Sept. 4. Some of the Bulldogs officials told him there would be a ceremony to celebrate the new lights at the field, located behind Fulton School. He was stunned when he found out it was also to honor him for three decades of service.
